increased by over 2% for the week, to end at 76.66 p/therm 35
after talks between the US and Iran ended without a decisive 20
agreement. Emerging reports indicate that Iran is reportedly 5

Crude oil prices rose over the week, hovering near their
highest level since July as geopolitical risks returned to the Brent
forefront, mainly due to uncertainty over United States– 73
Iran nuclear talks and fears of possible military escalation. 72.5
Indirect negotiations in Geneva ended without a deal, while
Washington authorized the departure of non-essential 72
embassy staff in Israel and deployed the USS Gerald R. Ford 71.5
strike group to the region. Still, underlying supply $/bbl 71
fundamentals continue to act as a counterweight.

Hence, Brent crude rose by 1% for the week, settling at 70
$72.48 a barrel.
